Frictionless Customs for your EU Import Orders from Rough Old Glass
Especially for VAT Registered Business Customers with an EORI number, importing from the UK into:
Spain, Italy, Germany, Belgium, Netherlands, France, Poland, Croatia, Sweden, Portugal, Hungary, Austria & Denmark
(Not available for Greece, Ireland, Norway, Cyprus, Turkey, Albania, Bosnia, Canary Islands, Iceland or Switzerland, for these countries we supply on a DAP/DUP basis)
At Rough Old Glass we use a Customs Brokerage service who operate as a Global VAT Representative to allow us to export from the UK to our EU Customers on a DDP (Delivered Duty Paid Incoterm) basis.
For a straightforward import process, please provide your EORI and VAT numbers and ensure that we have the correct billing and delivery address details and contact name and number for the receiver.
We will NOT charge VAT on your invoice but will make reference to the VAT Regime (Regime 42-00). We are assured by Deloitte that the treatment of VAT within this process is absolutely compliant.
You will not need to pay VAT on import but must declare the purchase in your VAT return as you would have done before Brexit when buying goods from the UK.

RETAIL
We supply on a DAP/DUP basis (Delivered at Place/Delivered at Place Unloaded).
This means that the buyer is responsible for import clearance and any applicable local taxes or import duties.
If you are able to order through a VAT registered business, within the design or construction industry, who has an EORI number, we can supply to them using our Frictionless Customs service detailed above.
